I read the reviews for Nightmares Echo by Katlyn stewart. Bought the book through Amazon.com. The reviews are dead on with this book. What a powerful truth telling memoir this is. You will cry, and rejoice. I rate it up there with Running With Scissors, A Child called It, Secret Life Of Bees and I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings. If you can get and read this book. |

For what it is worth, three books, off-beat but entertaing literature, I recommend: Doghouse Roses by Steve Earle (the well-known songwriter)a great book of short stories, Boonsville by Anderson, and Nobody Bats a Thousand by Steve Schmale, a great book of stories I found on Amazon |

I've been enjoying this site. I'm always interested to see the book covers attached to various reviews. Very clever Steve. 9/10 times they are different to the copy I am familiar with. I'm in Australia, do different covers go to different parts of the world or do different editions get different covers? |

A new online reading group has been launched. If you love books and are interested in discussing your latest reads with like-minded individuals, join http://groups.yahoo.com/group/londonbookgroup/ Two books will be read each month, alternating contemporary fiction to classics. Titles will be nominated and voted for by members of the group. The first book, chosen by the moderator, is The Devil's Larder by Jim Crace. All ideas and suggestions welcome! |

Hi.....Still love this website. I, too, like to read other readers' opinions about a book before I get it, even though I do not know the readers. |

I love reading other peoples' reviews on a book before I buy it. It often influences my decision, so that I don't make an unwise purchase. Most of the reviews I have read and acted upon usually prove correct! I also enjoy submitting reviews. Brilliant site! |

I read an excellent book called "Why Doesn't She Just Leave?" by Lisa Moss (ISBN# 0-595-16375-0). It is the actual journal of an abused wife, and it is wonderfully informative and well written! |

This looks like an excellent site for people who like to read and who like to talk about it. When I was young I was a voracious reader and my eyes still scan for print wherever I go. But I don't read fiction much anymore (unless you count the lies in the newspapers!). I wandered in here while I was looking for tips and instructions for conducting a face-to-face book discussion group. A friend who is not yet on-line asked me to help her. Does anyone have any information about this topic? |

Just found this site and have registered. Looking forward to being a member. We always need new suggestions for our local Discussion Book Club. I plan to investigate Susan Vreeland's offer of a speaker phone discussion with our group next year - this was a great idea. |
